Summoning the Lich in GAG can be one of the most exciting yet terrifying challenges in the game. It’s not something you stumble into accidentally. You must prepare your character, follow specific steps, and understand the risks. When I first attempted this ritual, I thought it would be simple—but I was completely wrong. The Lich is smarter, stronger, and deadlier than most players expect.
Gathering the Required Items
Before you begin, you’ll need three primary components:
- Cursed Soul Shard – These drop from elite enemies in the Graveyard Zone.
- Forgotten Rune – Hidden inside the Ancient Library dungeon.
- Spirit Candle – Crafted using rare ghost essence.
Finding these items wasn’t easy. I spent hours grinding through enemy waves. At one point, I was surrounded and almost lost all my progress. That’s when I realized the importance of defensive buffs and potions. Every bit of preparation helps.
Finding the Ritual Circle
Once you have the items, travel to the Shadow Crypt, located on the west side of the Dark Forest. You’ll notice eerie music and floating ashes in the air. At the back of the crypt lies a massive ritual circle carved into the stone floor. The first time I walked in, I felt like I was stepping into a trap.
Performing the Summon
Stand in the center of the ritual circle and place:
- Cursed Soul Shard on the north glyph
- Forgotten Rune on the south glyph
- Spirit Candle in the center
Light the candle and wait. The lights will dim, your screen will shake, and ghostly whispers will echo around. Honestly, I was spooked the first time. Suddenly, the Lich exploded out of the shadows, screaming with ancient rage.
The Battle Experience
When I fought the Lich, I underestimated its magic damage. It instantly drained half my health. I panicked and tried to run, but it teleported in front of me. The trick is to keep moving, dodge the purple flame attacks, and strike only when it pauses to cast spells. I learned that if you break its shield first, physical damage becomes more effective.
Halfway through the fight, skeleton minions began spawning. My heart was pounding. I had to kite them around the crypt while finishing the Lich’s health bar. After a long, stressful battle, the Lich finally collapsed.

Defeating the Lich grants:
- Rare Necro-core
- Powerful spellbooks
- XP boost
- Shadow cosmetics
It felt worth every second of the struggle.
